They added, “it comes less than two months after a boy was bitten by a shark in the same place.”

They continued, “it is believed that a surfer board was bitten by a shark. The surfer is unharmed.”
“Australian Lifeguards Lifeguards were commissioned and worked immediately with the Council to close the beach and put up signs to warn the public not to enter the water,” added the statement. “SLSNW UAV assets were used for the rest of the day to observe the beach as a security measure.”

Surf Lifesaving Far North Coast’s Dave Rope talked about how Ross was lucky to have escaped the attack.
“Very, very happy, I would go out and buy a lottery ticket today, I think, if I were them,” Rope told ABC. “I would only say that it is a miracle that no one was physically injured by it.”
“It’s a pretty wild and big one, it’s divided into two. There is no doubt that it probably comes from the power of the bite,” he added.
Local yoga teacher Kym Falvey also opened if the incident after seeing the event develops.

She ended: “Last time the shark came right in shallow, so the surfers in the water said:” We didn’t want to stop paddling until we arrived on the dry sand. “
