The rapper dies at 39 after hospital stay



Young Scooter, the Atlanta -Rapper signed to Future and Waka Flocka FlameHave reportedly died the same day as his birthday. He was 39.

A 39-year-old man died after injuring his leg on a fence when he fled the police who responded to a 911 call at home at William Nye Drive on Friday March 28 press conference. The man was transported to Grady Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Scooter, born Kenneth Edward Bailey, was confirmed as the deceased male, according to reports from 11 aliveThe Amount and Atlanta News firstWith reference to Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office. However, the police have not yet shared the identity of the deceased right now.

Officers responded to a 911 call over “a dispute with a shot shot and a woman who is withdrawn into the home”, the police at a press conference, Per 11 alive.

“When officers arrived, a man initially opened the door (then) closed the door in the faces of the officers without communicating,” police said. The officers “established a circumference” during which time two men “fled” the premises.

“When officers located him on the other side of the fence, he seemed to have suffered an injury to his legs. Officials provided help and he was transported to Gradu Hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” police said.

The police could not find the woman at the home and said why the men fled are not known. They confirmed that there was no shooting of the police in the incident per 11alive.

Scooter’s family confirmed his death in the incident, Atlanta News reported first. But his cause of death has not been confirmed right now.

People have reached the Atlanta Police Department and Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office for Comment.

Scooter was born in Walterboro, SC, and moved to Kirkwood Community in Atlanta at the age of nine. In 2008, he persecuted a music career after an allegation of drug trafficking and collaborated with his childhood friend Future, 41, on several songs before signing with him in 2012, Per Amount.

Waka Flocka, which Scooter signed in 2013, seemed to pay tribute to the late rapper on his Instagram storiesWriting, “Street, you made me cry before my show … you spine … Dama Brada.”

Rapper Playboi Carti reacted to his Instagram stories Writing, “smfh.” Quavo wrote it X “Ion understands,” along with a video of scooters performing and a broken and prayer hands emojis.
