An Alabama mother delivered a special delivery and gave birth to a 13 pound, 4 oz. Baby Girl – two weeks early.
Pamela Mann gave birth to Paris Halo on Tuesday, March 4 at the Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., According to FOX AFFILIATE WBRC-TV and NBC Affiliate WVTM-TV.
And while the child had measured big on an ultrasound of both an ultrasound technology and her ob/gym, Mann told WVTM that the extent of the newborn debut was all surprised.
“Everyone in ER -e was surprised,” said the 31-year-old delivery driver about his child, who was originally due March 20. “They were like,” OMG, Oh, this is a big baby! “
Paris Halo is about twice as large as an average newborn, according to The World Health Organization.
At a doctor’s meeting about a month ago, Mann said it was determined that she would have a C-section, which was scheduled for Tuesday.

“About four weeks ago my doctor measured the child to about 8 kg, came to find out that she was far above what both said,” said the new mother, leaving that the ultrasound technology estimated that the child weighed about 10 kg.
But when it was time to deliver Paris, Mann met some scare.
“The doctor pulls her out of me, and all nurses are like” oh good! “‘Wow!’ “Mann told me Today. “Then I started freaking because I had no idea what happened.”
When she talked to WVTM, she remembered to ask: ‘Is something wrong? What’s wrong? ‘And when they actually just said she’s just big, I just broke out in tears. ”
Now mann is to sunbathe in his performance, while the newborn is expected to be released from the hospital’s Nicu in the coming days, according to Today.
“She gets some extra love and care,” Mann said. “But she is doing well.”
