The body of a missing teenage boy has been found just one day after disappearing in the water on a beach in England.

Police had been looking for the boy since the afternoon on Saturday June 28, after receiving a call that he was missing at 14:49 local time, according to one statement from the Lincolnshire Police.

The authorities added that the boy disappeared while he was at Anderby Creek, a small holiday place on England’s northeastern coast.

Police then discovered a body “during the early hours” on Sunday, June 29.

The police said that a number of emergency services organizations were involved in the search, including the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and several local Coast Guard departments.

“Police drones and officers searching the beaches formed part of this extensive search, all supported by Lincolnshire Community Assistance Team,” police said. “Our thoughts right now are with the boy’s family.”

No information about the boy’s age or identity has been provided right now.

People were enough for Lincolnshire Police as well as the Royal National Lifeboat Institution for comments, but did not receive immediate answers.

Lincolnshire Community Assistance Team (L-Cat), a volunteer-based non-profit organization that works together with rescue services in times of need, shared a statement About the tragedy and stated that they were “really sorry to hear the news that a body was discovered this morning after yesterday’s reports of a missing child in the sea.”
