Dressed in a tuxedo from Travel carLeius had gone down in the hallway to “Lovers and Friends” by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz with Usher and Ludacris. When Young reached him, they played a game of rock paper scissors to determine who would read their handwritten promises first.

The couple then switched rings from Wedding Day Diamonds.

“My favorite with Michelle is the aura she brings,” Leius tells People. “She has this contagious smile and laughter and is just this magnetic person that people are engraving against. I have loved to look at how she navigates in life with so much confidence.”

Young Gushes, “Jack always sees the best in everyone and will go out to help everyone. I can open up to him about anything and also have fun with doing absolutely anything. He is really my partner in crime.”

Leius’ boss and former University of Minnesota football coach, Mike Shels, served the wedding. Shel’s twin daughters, Lyla and Cecilia, were the flower girls.

After the bride and groom said “I do”, they went down in the hallway together as Drake’s “best I had ever” played.

The couple “made a pact to stay side by side all evening.”

“We wanted our day to be very intentional,” Young explains. “It’s easy to get stuck in the planning of everything and not switch to the moment so we made sure to plan small moments aside with each other.”

They shared their first dance to “hate that I love you” by Rihanna, with ne-yo. This song is meaningful to Young and Leius because it played in the car the first night they met, which resulted in a “special moment” of the song out the song together.

Before the wedding, Young told People that she was most excited to “dance until our feet fall off” – and everyone did just that.

“We felt that this would bring our two families by sharing a meal,” says Young.

Young and Leius were introduced by a mutual friend. The newlyweds are pleased to “eat through” their two -week honeymoon in Italy at the end of this summer and later start a family together.

“We are both happy to have found the person we really call our best friend and will go through life with,” they tell people. “Looking forward to having some athletic children and hopefully training them in the future.”
