Teddi Mellencamp had to get permission from their doctors before receiving their latest tattoos – including the matching she got with Kyle Richards.
On Thursday, April 17, the episode of Diamonds in the rough Podcast with MellenCamp, 43, and Erika Jayne, 53, the couple opened about Mellencamp’s latest experience of getting a brand new tattoo.
“So always, I’ve wanted this tattoo, and I’ve never got it,” said Mellencamp, who is Fighting melanoma that was metastasized to her lungs and brain.
“Before everyone has a complete mental break, she got permission. She was cleared medically to get the tattoo, so don’t go crazy,” Jayne chimped.

“The whole family and I have talked on all these holidays about wanting to get this little knife,” shared Mellencamp.
“… I want, when I’m annoyed, just be able to walk …” she said, probably showing the tattoo of a knife on her forearm. “And since everyone who knows me knows we are done with this conversation. We are not we are not going anymore.”
“Plus,” she added, “… we had a song that went with it, and we would go,” I think I like this little knife, “” she joked and played the lyrics to “Little Life” by singer Cordelia and called it “The most disgusting song ever.”
“Well, know what? We have now taken it for the little knife,” Joking Mellencamp.
This new tattoo comes just a week after she got matching tattoos with her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Castmate Richards, 56. The former casting mates shared that they had their tattoos made at Jennifer Turner Leipart’s birthday party in a Instagram Post Thursday, April 10.
In an image, Mellencamp can be seen to get a tattoo on your arm while wearing pajamas. The last picture is a black and white photo of Richards, Mellencamp and Leipart’s matching arm tattoos: a small match with a low.
“We love our new tattoos! A perfect match! Yolo π,” Richards added in the caption.

Mom to three first announced on Instagram 2022 that she had been diagnosed with Stage II melanoma, and in February this year, after handling “serious and weakening headaches” for weeks, the doctors discovered that she had Several brain tumors.
Since 2022, Mellencamp has shared that she has gained a dozen melanoma away from the skin, and when she announced that she had developed brain tumors earlier this year, she said that her doctor thought they had “grown for at least six months.”
After undergoing a craniotomy with a tumor resection, Mellencamp revealed that Four tumors were removed instead of two. The doctors later found that she still had Five additional tumors in her body, including in her lungs.
On April 3, Mellencamp also shared a video on her Instagram stories that announced that her cancer had been classified as step 4. Talk to Nightline For an interview that was broadcast on Thursday, April 10, the star shared that her doctor told her that her immunotherapy treatment has a “50/50” chance to work.
βIt’s one of my favorite things to ask:β How long do I have? What are my chances? “And they often say 50/50,” she continued, remembered she replied: β50/50?
“And (the doctor) likes, ‘no, it’s just because it’s how long Immunotherapy has existed So that is as long as the study has worked. “So that’s when I try to find the positive,” she added.
