Teddi Mellencamp revealed that more tumors have been found in her brain and lungs.
On Thursday 6th March Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Alun, 43, published a health update to her Instagram Profile and then add the update to their Instagram stories minutes later.
“I have three more tumors in the brain and 2 tumors on the lungs. These are all a direct result of my melanoma, “she started the Instagram image text. In the past two years she had 17 different Melanoma spots removed.
“The doctors are hopeful that these additional mutations will be removed through immunotherapy. It starts Tuesday at 11am, she continued. “I feel positive and excited – that I will beat these tumors.”
She also shared that she got a blonde wig and confirmed that she does “like the short hair, just not the bare spots.”

On Tuesday, February 12, Mellencamp said that she “handled seriously and debilitating headaches” for several weeks. The “unbearable” pain then “demanded hospital stay.” Once at the hospital on Monday 11 February she received a CT scan and MRI and “doctor Found several tumors On my brain, which they believe has grown for at least 6 months. ”
Four of the tumors were surgically removed on February 12. “The remaining minor tumors will be handled through radiation at a later date,” she wrote at that time.
Almost two weeks later, on Wednesday, February 26, she shared her first update after the operation. “I am so grateful to the incredible surgeons, doctors and nurses who made my surgery a success and my recovery process comfortable,” she wrote. “This struggle is not over, but that round has won.”
She also added one video On her Instagram stories that she got surgical staples away from the back of her head.
Two days later she said she was “ready for radiation” on a Friday February 28 Instagram post.
On Tuesday, March 3, she revealed that she returned home from the hospital after being in the facility’s care for 16 days. “Thanks to all my love and lifeguards for getting me to this day,” she formed her Instagram stories.
Podcast values also acknowledged that it is “obviously very emotional to see your body change with so much medication from the brain tumors.”
“But just try to remember how grateful I am because I can move my body again,” she said as she torn up. “One day at a time I come back to where I want to be and feel my best.”

Mellencamp’s latest diagnosis comes in the midst of her year long struggle with skin cancer and removal of over 17 different Melanoma spots – By December 2024.
According to National Institute of HealthUp to 60% of patients with advanced melanoma develop brain metastases during their disease, and “the presence of brain metastases significantly exacerbates a patient’s prognosis.” This occurs when cancer cells migrate through the blood-brain barrier.
