Taco Bell’s Crispy chicken lumps is here to stay.
After a successful limited driving in December – during which they sold throughout the country in less than a week – Nuggets becomes a permanent article on the fast food chain’s menu 2026.
But chicken enthusiasts don’t have to wait until then to get a new taste. The fan favorite will return to Taco Bell on April 24 for “its longest driving yet”, according to a press release that the brand shared with people.
When the crispy article was launched on December 19, Taco Bell says that almost 5 million customers tried them, leaving that almost one of six orders included Nuggets during their first run on the menu.
The release notes that chicken lumps are “a little unexpected” for the Taco supplier, but the brand has “never been about following the rules” and the demand for the object was “outside the lists.”

The nuggets are made of completely white meat chicken marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and coated with a mixture of bread crumbs and tortilla chips.
Taco Bell says they tested more than 50 recipes and flavor combinations to make the coating perfect.
The chicken is also served with a trio of dip: hidden valley fire ranch sauce, tangy, creamy clock sauce and jalapeño honey mustard sauce.
Nuggets began to generate buzz when Taco Bell began testing them in Minneapolis 2023 and Houston 2024.
