Fans expect to see Shakira and Jason compared to In a two-day concert series in Fenway Park will have to wait after their sets suddenly interrupted just hours before Showtime.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Shakira and Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn performances originally planned for May 29 and May 30 at Fenway Park have been canceled,” Concert account for the Historical Home of Boston Red Sox which was published for publication to Public X and Instagram.

Post continued, “Refunds will be available at your purchase point. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

An official reason was not given, but Boston Inspectional Services reportedly canceled the exhibitions due to construction issues, sources told us TMZ. People were enough for Boston Inspectional Services and Fenway Sports Group for comments.

Some of the comments The Fenway Concert’s Post claimed that there had been a problem with the stage construction.

“I know someone who works there,” a commentator claimed. “The step roof stretched when trying to mount one of the big screens. It literally happened within the last few hours.”

“Fix the F-King stage,” said another and got the answer, “The roof collapsed.”

Many expressed their disappointment by sharing the preparation it took for the fans to participate: “They better repay people for time they took off work, for booked hotels for air tickets too. BS !!!”

According to Shakira, 48 and Fenway Park, the Colombian singer and songwriter had already arrived in town.

“Hello, Boston! What is a sweet welcome!” She wrote an Instagram stories after Wednesday, May 28.

The picture was of a table set up with an assortment of macros and other sweets, along with four photos of her – probably a welcome show in her hotel room. Fenway Park reposted the image on its Instagram stories hours before the cancellation.

In a attached April 22 post to its Instagram account which announced the North American leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, the fans continued to share their disappointment.

“Shakiraaaaaa !!!!! Ayyyyyyyy games anywhere else tonight 😭 ruined,” wrote a fan.

Aldean, 48, re -posted Fenway Park’s cancellation message to his Instagram stories.

“Huge fan Jason, would see you tomorrow on Fenway, who sucks it is interrupted. Someone had to say something about what happened at least,” commented a fan on an independent video that the country singer shared earlier the same day.
