Sex toy thrown at the court stops a WNBA game for the third time

For the third time in a week, a sex toy thrown on a court has interrupted a WNBA game.

During Valkyries August 1 game against Chicago Sky, 7 minutes and 42 seconds into the third quarter, a person threw an unexpected object at the Wintrust Arena court in Chicago. The broadcast captured pictures of a green sex toy thrown on the sideline only shy for the court, later shared X.

The referee quickly blew the whistle and stopped the game, and the announcer is heard to say: “Got a whistle from basketball.”
