Severance’s Gemma played by Dichen Lachman shares its reaction to the Season 2 final (exclusive)

There is a lot to unpack after the explosive end to Departure weight‘s surr-if second season-and star Dense LachmanWhose double character of Miss Casey and Gemma was in the middle of everything, can finally share her tag.

The section begins with enemy-turned-allharmony Cobel (Patricia Arquette) helps Mark Scout (Adam Scott) Communicate with his Innie through recorded messages in the Birthing House on the Lumon Industries Property where Inies can give birth so that their excursions cannot withstand pain.

At one point, Cobel Innie Mark confronts the truth about his work at Cold Harbor, the project he has worked with during his time at Lumon. She explains her connection to his wife Gemma (known as Casey as her cut I inside Lumon). Cluster in every macrodata -Föfinning project (MDR) is “Temprar”, which represents the “building blocks” in Gemma’s mind. Each time he complete one, a new Innie is created.

When he talks to his Innie, Mark asks him to pick up Gemma from the floor where she is held caught by Lumon when Cold Harbor is done. But Mark S. hesitates because he believes in saving Gemma and leaving Lumon with her would be the end of his life – and his romance with Helly R. (Britt Lower).

Still, he arrives at Lumon’s deterred floor, he completed cold port that MS Cobel prevailed and he also goes a lot to save Gemma. After successfully picking her up from the Cold Harbor room, their excursions have a brief reconciliation before Mark switches back to their Innie. He helps Gemma out of the building through an exit on the cut floor, but instead of leaving with her, Innie runs off with Helly R. When Gemma asks him to go with her.

Now that he looks back at the shocking moment, actress Lachman, 43, tells people about her reaction to everything.

“I think I read (section) 10 just before we started filming (section) 10 and 7. I just remember that I was like,” Oh wow, this will be interesting to see the reaction, “she says.” Of course the fans have spent so much time with Helly R. and Mark S., and so they are invested in it. But after (section) 7, they are also hopefully invested in Marks Outie’s relationship as well. ”

“It’s a really difficult situation,” she adds.

When it comes to what this means for Gemma, Mark and Helly (whose Outie is Helena Eagan), Lachman does not know what is the next when she jokes: “Will they train a Timeshare?”

For Lachman, a large part of her enjoyment to work with the second season of Thriller has dives deeper into her double character.

“It was so wonderful because so much of Gemma for so long had only been small fragments. To really live in that space and lean into the emotional anchor for Mark, Outie Mark, it was really exciting,” she shares.

“It was scary because I really didn’t want to let anyone down,” she continues. “I knew the fans were super -invested in the show. I haven’t seen people this invested in anything for so long. The attention they pay for every detail, such as zooming into shots and finding small clues, it’s wild.”

On the question of whether she is thinking There will be a season 3Lachman is still hopeful.

“The fingers crossed and if we are all lucky enough to go that way I’m just really happy to see what (the creator) Dan Erickson comes with,” she says. “He is such an extraordinary talent and I couldn’t be happier for him that so many people around the world have just been completely inspired and imprisoned by this show.”

“It really keeps your attention like nothing else out there,” she concludes. “It’s almost like going to me. I feel it is different to watch Departure weight. ”
