Serbian politician Darko Glišić suffers from stroke in the middle of the interview on live TV

A Serbian politician got a stroke during a living interview.

Darko Glišić – Former Minister of Public Investment and one father to two, per his government cinema -Asvated on a morning show for Serbian TV channel Pink on Tuesday, August 5, when his behavior changed my interval, according to Serbian Outlet Times and Daily mail.

He was hospitalized in “an unconscious state and doctors are fighting for his life”, per Times.

Another Serbian politician, Zlatibor Lončar, said that upon arrival at the hospital, Glišić had “an extremely complex operation”, which took “longer than expected”, Times reported.

Lončar also said that the Minister received a visit from Vučić, which the president confirmed on his Instagram account.

“I came to the clinical center in Serbia and visited Darko Glišić and for all our people I want to tell you a wonderful news. Darko is better, I talked to him,” Vučić said in a video on Instagram, divided August 6 and translated by Times.

The president continued, “He is still struggling a bit, but I can’t describe my joy and his. They can’t beat Serbia. There is no surrender, long live Serbia.”

In the caption, which is originally imprisoned in Serbian, Vučić added: “Darko is better, thank you all for your concern.”

One day later, on August 7, the president shared a new update on InstagramThis time a snap of him holding Glišik’s hand. The minister raised his other hand in a fist when he was lying in his hospital bed.

According to CDC, the treatments for stroke “are best available only if stroke is recognized and diagnosed within 3 hours of the first symptoms.” So if symptoms occur, it is best to call 911 and come to a hospital as quickly as possible.

Stroke symptoms include “suddenly” the beginning of one of the following: “numbness or weakness on the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.” “Confusion, problems with speaking or difficulty understanding speech.” “Problems to see in one or both eyes;” “Walking, dizziness, loss of balance or lack of coordination.” and “severe headache without any known cause.”
