Sean “Diddy” Combs was greeted with a standing ovation of his fellow prisoners when he returned to prison after being acquitted of the most serious charges against him, according to one of his lawyers.
Wednesday, July 2 was Combs, 55, officially acquitted Of the sex trafficking and racqueting – accusations that could have led to life in prison, he had been convicted.
The rapper’s leading lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, told People that Comb’s colleagues with prisoners regarded the acquittal as a sign of hope.
“They all said,” We’ll never see anyone beating the government, “Agnifilo said.

Agnifilo went on to describe his client’s overall mental and emotional state and explained that he usually speaks with Comb’s four or five times a day.
“He can do okay,” Agnifilo told People, leaving that Combs “realizes that he has deficiencies like everyone else he never worked with.”
“He burns warmly on all questions. I think what he has come to see is that he has these shortcomings and there is no amount of fame and no amount of wealth that can delete them,” the lawyer continued. “You can’t cover them.”
While Combs was not convicted of the most serious accusations against him, he was Sentenced on two bills of transport to get involved in prostitution in the shared judgment. This means that he could meet up to 20 years in prison if he is sentenced to consecutive imprisonment.
Mogulen – which has been in prison since September 2024 – was denied the bail by Judge Arun Subramanian during the Court July 2 and will therefore have to remain in custody in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan detention center until its judgment on October 3.

During the trial, which began in May, prosecutors called 34 witnesses over a total of 29 days’ testimony. Among them were Casandra “Cassie” VenturaCombs’ ex, with which he was in a relationship for 11 years.

Prosecutors tried to prove that Ventura, 38, had been forced to participate in “freak offs”, who were developed sex performances with male sex workers.
Comb’s lawyers claimed throughout the trial that the sexual meetings had been a consensus. They introduced several exhibitions, including text messages, in evidence intended to strengthen that argument.
Although ComB’s acquitted of the most serious bills against him, he is still facing several dozen moods that accuse him of sexual behavior, which means that his legal problems are far from over.
