Savannah Chrisley says Mom Julie now “looks different in her eyes” after prison experience

Todd Chrisley And Julie Chrisley remembers her time in federal prison on their daughter’s podcast.

On Tuesday, July 1, the episode of Locked up with Savannah ChrisleyThe 56-year-old man and his 52-year-old wife showed up as special guests at Savannah’s podcast after the couple recently was Pardoned of President Donald Trump.

During the family’s extensive and heart -blanket conversation, Savannah Opened about the change she has seen in her mother in recent weeks.

“So you were definitely very different,” said the 27-year-old impact when her mother agreed.

“Mom had to go through things you never needed,” Savannah continued.

Julie reminded to serve her time for banking and wire fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy “in a building that was 100 years old that did not have air conditioning” at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

“It was cold sometimes in the winter, and it was really hot in the summer,” she continued.

According to Savannah, the air conditioning had even stopped working in visiting rooms during the summer heat.

Julie added that the temperature would reach “between 110 and 120 degrees”, when Todd shook his head and referred to his wife’s situation as a “deadly hell.”

Todd claimed that he also experienced a week where the air conditioning at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida stopped working.

“I called Savannah on the phone because I knew they were listening to the Biden phone up there, because every time you used a phone, that was what we called (it), the Biden phone,” he said. “I would go up there because I knew they were intercepting. So I would go up there and I would tell them everything I wanted them to hear, I would tell Savannah. And literally when I told them, I said,” I want you to report to the press. “I said,” They live these men here in 100 degree weather. “”

His tactics worked seemingly.

“The next day they had the company out there and they installed two brand new units,” Todd said.

Unfortunately, it could not be said to Julie.

“We didn’t have the option to even be repaired because we didn’t have it to begin with,” Julie said. Savannah and Todd both chimped in, claiming that a fire Marshall discovered at one point “they had screwed all windows closed.”

“Now that you look at mom, she just looks different in her eyes,” Savannah said.

Elsewhere in the interview, the family discussed how Julie is alleged locked up in a prison cafe of “the one a —— co (Correctional Officer).”

Todd and Julie were in federal custody since January 2023, after they were found guilty fees for tax evasion and bank fraud and Sentenced to 19 years In prison (this number was later reduced by about two years each).

They returned home on May 28.
