He continued: “I went through eight hours of chemicals, my hair and then eight or nine days I had to make my roots. So for three or four months I went through this horrible routine with my hair. And then until it started to break, you know, and it became shorter and shorter and shorter and I would, I would have a flat top … I could have a wig!”
