Prince William goes together with his aunt, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh for his latest royal excursion.
William, 42, will be united by Sophie, 60, when he travels to Wadebridge, Cornwall, Friday 6 June for The Royal Cornwall Show. Both he and Sophie are protectors of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, whose annual events have livestock competitions, food and drink.
William’s father King Charles recently participated in the show with Queen Camilla 2022, where Charles was honored to become Duke by Cornwall 70 years ago. While they were there, the king saw cattle, sheep and goats on the display and asked to present the championship trophies.
The show, which goes back to 1793, is a popular event in the region and withdraws about 120,000 visitors each year.
When they participate in the show, William and Sophie are expected to visit Royal Cornwall Food and Farming Pavilion to try food and drinks made over Cornwall, including Cornish Cheeses, Jams and canned, as well as gins and other spirits.
William will then visit the Duke Cornwall Hub, which will promote mental health organizations including Pentreath Cornwall Rural Community Charity, Georgia’s Voice, KOoth, Man Down, Paprus and Sunrise.
