While talking to Congress on March 4, president Donald Trump boasted of their administration performance during their first 43 days day.
“Six weeks ago, I stood under the dome in this capital and proclaimed the dawn of Golden Age of America. From that moment it has been nothing but fast and unmatched measures to start the largest and most successful era in our country’s history. We have achieved more in 43 days than most administrations completed in four years or we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are.
Here are eight early claims from his speech.
Early in his speech, Trump compared himself with George Washington, the first person to hold the President of the United States.
“It has been stated by many that the first month of our presidency … is the most successful in our nation’s history,” Trump said without quoting any source. “And what makes it even more impressive, do you know who number two is George Washington? How about it? I don’t know about that list, but we’ll take it.”

“I look at the Democrats in front of me, and I realize that there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or to get them to stand or smile or applaud. Nothing I can do. I could find a cure for the most devastating disease, a disease that would wipe out whole nations, or announced the answers to the greatest economy, or stop, or the stop of the crime, or the stop. “And these people sitting here will not pat, will not stand, and will certainly not cheer on these astronomical achievements.”

“Earlier today I received an important letter from President Zelensky from Ukraine,” Trump said. “The letter reads,” Ukraine is ready to get to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace more closely. No one wants peace more than the Ukrainians. “(Zelenskyy) said:“ My team and I am ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts. ”
Trump added that “at the same time we have had serious discussions with Russia and have received strong signals that they are ready for peace.”

“We strongly support your right to decide your own future, and if you choose, we welcome you to the United States,” he told its people, who are technically Danish citizens.
“We need Greenland for national security and even international security, and we work with everyone involved to try to get it. But we really need it for international world safety. And I think we will get it in one way or another.”
Greenland is not the only country that Trump has its view of.
Towards the end of his speech, he set his goals beyond the earth and explained “We will lead humanity into space and plant the American flag on the planet Mars and even far beyond.”

We two friends who fight are exactly what our opponents around the world want to see. ”
However, some of Trudeau’s other comments were less friendly to the US president.
“They talk about working positively with Russia, browsing Vladimir Putin – a lie, murderous, dictator,” continued Prime Minister Trump’s administration. “Make it meaningful. Canadians are reasonable and we are polite. But we will not go down from a struggle … Canada will perform 25% customs against $ 155B of US goods.”

The president’s sudden dismissal of Zelenskyy and other Ukrainian officials after their peace negotiations broke down with a screaming match has left many who wonders if Trump will turn his back on Ukraine when he looks to come to a quick end to Russia’s three -year invasion.
When Zelenskyy shared March 2 that he believed that an end to the war was still “very, very far away”, Trump escalated their feud and said, “This is the worst statement that Zeleskyy could have done, and America will not take it up that much anymore!”
