Patrick Mahomes takes responsibility for Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2025 loss.
The team’s star quarter back took to X On Sunday evening after the big game and wrote an apology to Chief’s fans all over the world.
“Appreciate all the love and support from #chiefkringdom,” wrote Mahomes, 29. “I let go today. I will always continue to work and try to learn and be better for it. Want to thank God for every occasion he has given me.”
The father of three ended his apology with a promise and wrote: “We will be back.”

On Sunday, February 9th Managers were dominated by Philadelphia Eagles At Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans.
The team went to a historic “three peat” after winning Super Bowl 2023 and 2024, but quickly realized that the task was out of their grip. Chiefs went at halftime without any points on the board and struggled during the second half to finish the match with a losing score of 22-40.
On one press conference After the defeat, Mahomes said to reporters, “When you lose Super Bowl, it’s the worst feeling in the world. It will stick to you the rest of your career … they probably hurt more than the winnings are doing well. ”

During press conferenceMahomes also took responsibility for their own performance and said: “I didn’t think I played to my standard only with especially the struggle I had earlier in the season. There are things I have to get better at and they showed today on the biggest stage. ”
He promised to take the loss as a learning moment and added: “I have to learn from it and have to try to get better on the next occasion I hopefully get.”

Mahomes became Jublad at the game by his wife, Brittany Mahomesand their two oldest children – daughter Sterling3 and son Bronze2. The couple welcomed their third child – daughter Golden – In January.
