‘Owritten’ singer Natasha Bedingfield reveals Sweet Message from fans (exclusively)



20 years after the song’s release, ”Unwritten“Singer Natasha Bedingfield Continues to “feel the rain on the face” and love to hear that fans are too.

In an interview with People at Cirque du Soleils Luzia NYC premiereBedingfield, 43, opened about the effects of her music and how it has remained over time.

Bedingfield, which is best known for the uplifting hit 2004, says that looking at the song continues to live its life “continues to get in waves, and I’m like a surfers. I’m just part of it.”

“The song is bigger than me, and I love it,” she continued. “So when I sing it, I just feel that I’m part of something that happens, and it’s a fantastic feeling.”

The British singer-who lives in New York with his husband, businessman Matt Robinson and their 7-year-old son Solomon Dylan-Säger that the fans have revealed to her that the song has had a lasting impact on her own lives.

“Recently at exhibitions,” she said, “people often get away, saying they feel their inner children have become healed, and I love it.”

Performing “unwritten” still feels “incredible” to Bedingfield after two decades.

“I feel like a Beatle right now because everyone just sings the song with so much abandonment. And that’s just as the song says, release your inhibitions. Everyone is, and it will be the song you scream at the top of the lungs. And that’s exactly what we imagined when we wrote it,” Bedingfield told people.

“Pocket Full of Sunshine” singer will have a hectic summer that performs around the country.

“I have so many festivals. It’s so exciting. My band is fantastic and I’ve been singing for so many years, so my show is just good. And everyone sings along and it’s a fantastic time.”

“I love so many different songs, I love to perform new songs. I love to sing other people’s songs too.” Purple Rain “feels like it opens up some kind of magic. It’s like Ali Baba’s cave only opens when you sing it.”
