A robbery at a car dealer did not go to plane after the alleged thief injured himself and called the police for help, according to reports.

Jeremiah Megallon called the police on himself after he is alleged to injured himself on a broken glass while he broke into Patterson Dodge dealer in Tyler, Texas, Wednesday 26, Per CBS AFFILIATE KKTV 11The Kltv and Fox News.

A member of the car dealer staff claimed that Megallon cut himself on a 1-inch double window, KTLV reported.

Megallon was treated at a local hospital and then sent to Smith County prison, where he was arrested for alleged burglary by a building, Erbaugh confirmed to the outlet.

An employee of the car dealer claimed that Megallon only managed to steal candy from the desk to a seller during the alleged Botcha robbery.

“After 26 years here, the truth is stranger than fiction,” Erbaugh said about the event Per Fox News.
