Odell Beckham Jr. throws the A-list New York Fashion Week party (exclusive)

Odell Beckham Jr. Just got a big victory from the field.

NFL star, 32, hosted a star-studded event during New York Fashion Week on Friday September 12 as part of his latest venture fre & nds (pronounced “and friends”) as First launched During the Super Bowl week in New Orleans earlier this year.

Held at Highlight Room located in Manhattan, the only invited business-which was thrown in collaboration with True religion – attracted an elite mass of athletes, musicians, actors and taste makers to celebrate culture, connection and life.

Beckham Jr. captured people exclusively at the event, where he explained the importance behind throwing down during the New York Fashion Week specifically – a week after hosting another Fri and NDS in Soho House São Paulo in Brazil – and how his company has been developing since February.

“New Orleans brought me up, but New York made me,” says the prominent broad recipient, who built his professional football career with New York Giants after being selected by the team in the first round of the NFL draft 2014 and played with them until 2018.

“It brought me through so many fantastic times, trials, devastation, adversities, but so many good times,” continues Louisiana -in -born, which tells people exclusively when they take in the large panoramic view of the Lower Manhattan from the roof tire on the arena.

Still, Beckham Jr. – Who continued to play for Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins during the years that followed – New York calls a city he has been “eternally grateful for,” he shares.

“Anytime I come back, it’s just a good feeling, so of course there is no other place we would do it but here,” says the free agent about its New York Fashion Week Bash.

Beckham Jr knows how to make an entrance (yes, he pulled up in a country Rover in 1997 surrounded by a motorcyclesWhich then continued with Pop Wheelies up and down the active New York City Street) and was equipped in true religion from top to bottom.

His getup was classic, but cool and puts a black leather jacket of the brand over a white button-up shirt with a black tie. He matched it with True Religion Bottoms – and in his continued Ode to New York he completed his appearance with a black Yankees hat.

“I feel that I can now go into the closet and kind of throw anything together, and as long as I feel comfortable,” says Beckham Jr. People about his style motto today. “If you don’t have that confidence from within, it doesn’t matter what you put on, you still don’t feel that way.”

He adds, “Everything is from within; I have built myself from the inside. And the outside will be shown through it.”

FRE & NDS also builds, he says since the debut company with a respective star -studded event For an exhaust before Super Bowl party. While the platform aims to highlight and strengthen undiscovered creative through various events, it develops at the same time.

“For me, I always felt that my life was right. I was God’s child, I always felt like the chosen, so it’s about shining light on others.”

He ends, “The brand is growing forever,” he says. “And that’s where I think you will see it eventually.”
