While Noah Wyle played as Dr. John Carter on Is For 12 seasons, his children have not yet lost the NBC Medical drama hit.
“None of my older children have seen. They have seen more Gray’s Anatomy than they have Is. It’s a strife, “The 53-year-old actor tells People about his three children- Son Owen22, and daughter Auden, 19, whom he shares with ex-wife Tracy Warbin, and Frances, 9, his daughter with Mrs. Sara Wells.
“But the older they get and the more they seem to be interested in this business, the more I want it as something they may want to get involved in. But you know, they are looking at Pitten“Wyle continues and refers to Max’s original drama who sees him return to the medical TV genre as the highest doctor Dr. Michael” Robby “Robinavitch.
Admittedly, Wyle has not remained too much of his previous work. “I don’t like to look at myself,” he says, noting that when he does, “I just tend to be more forward when I look at my older work. I tend to be much friendlier to myself than I am the first time I look at it. The work tends to aging better for me and eventually I come to a point where I did not even remember.

While he can look at and appreciate when something “was good”, he admits that he “had some beautiful failures” in his career, where he says, “The intention was always good in most of the jobs I took.”
But since he became a parent, his selection process has been developed. “My taste changed radically after my son was born,” says Wyle about Owen, who was born in November 2002. “After I was a father, I was suddenly very aware of the things that my children would look at their father do or say.”
He adds, “It limited some of my impulses to suffice to characters that are much more on the friend. You know, I’d rather play good guys.”
In addition, Wyle helps her children navigate in Hollywood that both Owen and Auden are pursuing careers in front of and behind the camera.
Currently enrolled in college, he says that Owen “takes all kinds of movie classes with an eye against getting into this industry somewhere.”
“I tell him every day that it is a big tent. We have truck drivers, lawyers, carpenters. But he really likes the circus and so it will be difficult to keep him out under the big tent.”

As for Auden, she is “already started by her acting career. And she and I got to work together and play father and daughter in a section of Leverage: Redemption“Wyle says, referring to a moment from season 1 Between their characters, Harry and Becky Wilson, before they revealed that they have two more together “who are in the coming third season.”
“She just booked her first film,” he adds by the Aud and noted, “she is long before where I was her age.”
When it comes to Frances, says the actor, “My 9-year-old is a Dynamo who can do what she wants with her life”, before adding it to all three of them, “I have tried to make this company seem difficult and challenging, as it is. And they have no illusions like Lightning Strikes often in the same place.”
“So, as I said, everyone’s journey is their own and I make myself available (for them),” concludes Wyle.
