No one wants this to confirm the premiere date for season 2

On Sunday, June 1, the role of Hit Netflix series announced that season 2 will premiere on Thursday 23 October 2025.

The news was shared by Bell, Brody, Justin Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn, as well as the creator of the series Erin Foster And executive producer Sara Foster live on stage at Netflix’s Physee La Emmy event that celebrates Season 1.

In a video that confirms the big news, Bell, Brody, Lupe, Simons and Tohn gather when they ask a magical eight ball questions about “Scoop” on the second season.

The questions start with a fun one that Bell asks: “Will Matzah Ballers make the playoffs?” In response, the eight ball says: “Try again, loser.”

Other questions include whether there will be “another iconic kiss this season”, if Morgan will “find love this season” and if Esther will “forgive Sasha and Morgan for his friendship.”

But the last question is perhaps the most exciting when Bell asks what comes on October 23. When the eight ball says: “Ask a rabbi,” Brody proudly goes in.

“And the rabbi says: Season 2! Your favorite program and mine, No one wants this,“He says.

The first season of No one wants this Became an instant hit, with Netflix who announced its decision to renew the series for a second part in October 2024. The last episode left fans who sat on the edge of their seats. The viewers and crew were pleased to know that Noah (Brody) and Joannes (Bell) love story would not leave on a cliff.

“The incredible role, the crew, the producers and the managers all made this to the show as it is today, and to experience the viewers’ reactions to this series now that it is out in the world has been more than something I could have dreamed,” Erin Foster said in a statement at that time. “I am so lucky to be able to continue this story … justice because healthy relationships are the most romantic!”

No one wants this is inspired by Erin’s real love story with his husband, Simon Tikham. The series follows Noah, a recently single rabbi, and Joanne, an agnostic dating podcasts, when trying to make their relationship work despite major cultural differences.

In addition to Brody and Bell, most of the show’s primary role will return. Lupe and Simons will repeat their roles as the leaders’ siblings Morgan and Sasha respectively. Other returning role members include Tohn as Esther and Sherry Cola Like Ashley.

Brody’s real wife, Leighton Meesteris also a guest star during the second season of No one wants this. She will play Abby, Joannes Middle School Nemesis, who has become an “Instagram Mommy Influencer”, Per Amount.

Bottom Star Miles Fowler will play Lenny, Noah’s Matzah Ballers teammate, set up with Joanne’s sister, Morgan.
