Neighbors rescue the woman under fire by bumping her trailer

A woman in New Hampshire was rescued by her neighbors when her trailer caught fire.

The massive fire with three alarms occurred at 20:01 Friday, April 18 at Eastern Avenue in Amherst, NH a barn next to the home was also destroyed, Per ABC WMUR 9.

It took firefighters about an hour to check the flames, but they also met the brush fire conditions because of the wind, per Patch.com. Amherst Public Works later brought an excavator to the site to clear the garbage and completely extinguish the fire.

Two neighbors immediately called the Amherst Fire Department, but when they saw the severity of the stage, they took rescue operations in their own hands.

Artem Kozlov, who has lived in the area for several months, was outside and cleaned his dog’s paws after a walk when he saw the fire ignited Per Wmur. Kozlov ran to get his friend Tom Hansis, who has lived across the street from the trailer for 30 years.

The woman was not aware that her home burned when the two men entered the home to save her. They could get her to safety outdoors. “I told (Artem),” We have three minutes to get her out of here, “Hansis told Wmur,” “So let’s go.” ”

The woman had two cats, such as Kozlov and Hansis tried to save, but they died at the scene. They could regain the pet’s bodies for a proper burial.

“If it has ever happened to my wife? I mean, would I hope someone did the same thing,”
Hansis told the station.

Koslov reflected on the ties between the neighbors in his new neighborhood.

“These people are fantastic here,” he told Wmur. “I’ve lived in the United States for only three years, and these people are fantastic.”

The reason for the fire is being investigated, Amherst Fire Department told WMUR.
