A Concerned wife wondering if she is “unfair” against or “jealous” of Her husbandFemale employees after a new event in the evening.
The woman shared on the British Social Forum Mumnet That a ping on her husband’s phone woke them up – and the messenger was his colleague.
“We lay in bed. I asked what it was at that time, and he clearly didn’t want to tell me but said it was a colleague and she just said thanks for a laugh during their coffee break that day,” recalled the wife.
“I asked to look and it said what a really good friend he is and how he does her and the job is so fun and she loves to be in her team and work on this new project together,” she continued. “I knew they were going well, but I was worried that she sent this e -mail.”

The message resulted in the couple participating in a “big” fight.
“He said it is Platonic and that it was a nice thing for her to send him,” she added before expressing how it all made her feel. “If it hadn’t awakened me, I would never have known, which worries me too.”
Now she is looking for opinions outside to validate her feelings.
“Am I unreasonable to think that it is not for her to send this and for him to be ok with it? Or am I unfair to her and jealous, as he says?” she asked in her post, which included an attached survey.

“Why did she think of him late at night? It’s strange,” commented a person. “I have colleagues whose company I like, but I don’t email them late at night to tell them.”
Another replied, “Yes, she has her rod out. She has attached the bait and waits for the fish (your husband) to take a bit.”
