Mermaid Performer is reminiscent of giant fish biting the head in the aquarium exhibition (exclusive)

A Russian mermaid artist, who went virus- After a fish in the aquarium tank, she swam in attacked her, speaks out after the scary incident.

It was Tuesday, January 28, when 22-year-old Mariia Zelenina, who plays under the name “Masha”, was presented in an aquatic show in China’s xishuangban primitive forest park-a job she had had in the last ten months.

As they float under the water before happy children and other park guests, things quickly took a ride when one of the larger fish suddenly inhaled their heads.

Zelenina tells people that she was with another mermaid artist just moment before the incident.

“We had a show,” she recalls. “I made the first solo, another girl was waiting for me to do my solo. I almost finished it and would show up, but a fish bumped into me. ”

According to swimmers, the responsible fish was a Chinese disturbance.

The critically threatened freshwater fish is found in the Yangtze River, as well as Marina Vatten off the coast of China, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa). They can reach up to 16 feet.

“I didn’t understand what was happening, I started to push her away and get out of her mouth. When I show up, I realized that I didn’t have glasses, Zelenina tells People.

Video caught the scary attack, which showed that Zelenina was free. Her goggles came off during the meeting when terrified spectators saw in fear from the other side of the glass of thought.

“I was shocked, I knew nothing,” she says.

By refuting reports that she was “forced” to go back to work after, Zelenina tells people, “I was immediately taken to the hospital.”

She added that there was no rush for her to return, and that she would be back when she felt better.

“I’m resting now because my eye still hurts and I can’t get in touch with water,” says the Russian swimmer.

Because the clip went virally online, Zelenina says that she has read many stories that are simply not true.

“They also write that my superiors threatened me, but that is not the case either. Of course, they did not want the whole country to know about it, but it was inevitable, ”she tells People.

Despite the brutal underwater attack that left her with bruises that cover her face, Zelenina says she is good overall.

“It was unexpected. Of course I was scared, but many things can happen in life and you have to treat it with humor, she says. “I’m fine. I remember this situation as a joke. I was not afraid of these fish. ”

“Foreigners are treated very well here,” she adds to live and work in China.
