Meat -eating lizard escaping home through the second story window

A missing carnivorous lizard named Goose has been discovered over state lines.

Water Monitor Lizard has been on Frife since it left a webster, Mass., Home on Friday, July 18. The 5 -footed lizard fled from the home window on the second floor after someone who put in the window.

“This animal is owned illegally, and it is important to call animal control as soon as there is a spot so we can catch it. We have a reptile specialist that we work with,” Webster Animal Control wrote at Social media On Friday 18 July.

A week later, Friday 25 July, the city of Thompson announced, Conn. Social media That goose was discovered in the small dust area in Wilsonville Road and Thompsonville Road. Thompson is located about five miles south of Webster.

Thompson officials repeated Webster Animal Control’s statement and said that the city is also working with a reptile specialist. Although these lizards are not seen as a threat to humans, dogs or cats, Thompson officials noted that people would not try to approach goose.

“Please do not approach and let the pros handle the animal,” read the city’s July 25 -statement.

The public employee also informed the inhabitants that “these types of lizards are known for traveling, climbing trees and seeking water.”

“They searched in the area but couldn’t find it,” Webster told Police Chief Michael Shaw Fox 61. “It was discovered, I guess under a car across the line in Thompson, quite far above the line, maybe a mile or one and a half miles, so it’s quite a distance from where it came if it is the lizard.”

“They bite and they have some rather nasty bacteria in the mouth, which can cause some damage to a person,” said Shaw, leaving that the lizard “will not attack you, they are not dangerous.”

“This is a first in my 29 years in law enforcement,” said Shaw Per CBS news. “Just when we thought we had seen everything, we came across a missing water monitor.”

“We come out in the morning and we look around in the flower beds, hopefully you don’t see anything coming out of it,” Thompson told John Despellau to Fox 61.

At the same time, his wife Debra noted that when John runs, she will look out the window “up in the trees to see if it is in a tree, or if it is in the forest that goes around.”

“I’m always looking for it now,” she added. “I actually feel bad for it, people make many jokes about it, but I feel bad because I’m afraid he will die. We hope they find him and that he remains safe and they get him where he needs to be.”
