Dexter Darden has tied the knot!

The actor, 33, married his girlfriend for almost two years, Briah Nelson, in an “intimate” wedding on February 14 in the presence of his parents at their church’s scholarship in Monrovia, California.

“We took our pictures at Pasadena City Hall, and we decided to go on the theme of the 50s and pay tribute to a timeless decade, with our timeless union, so why not have fun with it,” the Darden tells People.

The bride and groom wore custom Wirsindsk and Burberry for their weddings and were designed by Aaron Wilcox. Darden looked Dapper in a three -part ivory suit with a brown fly. At the same time, Nelson chose a white dress in combination with classic pointed toe high heels. The fitness trainer’s hair was designed in a high bun with a long white bow.

The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Albert Tate and Larossa Tate.

“It was important for us to celebrate our parents for all the victims and our pastors to be sound advice, we decided that a small wedding would be the perfect way to start the journey for the rest of our lives,” says Darden.

The Labyrinth runners Alum added that they “wanted to go timeless fashion for our timeless union” and were inspired by It’s a wonderful life and Stormy weather.

Darden and Nelson were introduced by mutual friends in 2016. Seven years later, the couple decided to celebrate their birthdays in June in July 2023. While talking over dinner at Moon Shadows in Malibu, they both realized that they both had some serious growth since the last time they had joined. ” So in August 2023, the two decided to explore a romantic relationship and have been inseparable since then.

The couple wanted to “keep God first”, decided to do “deep work” together through courses and advice before commitment.
