A maid had a “full dirt” and threatened to drop out of his friend’s wedding over the bride’s dress specifications for Bridesmaid.
In a post Reddit‘S “Wedding drama” forum, one of the bridesmaids shared that the bride decided that she wanted her bridal party members to wear “unequal but coordinated” dresses – and she was all for the plan.
“The idea was cute. She made a group chat and dropped a Pinterest board,” explained OP (original poster).
But she continued, the bride did not give “clear guidelines” on her vision, and “every time someone shared a dress would the bride say something vague as” hmm, not really vibe “or” can you choose something warmer? “
OP said that this left the bridesmaids to feel “worried”-in particular the maid, who had already bought his dress “in a dusty rose color that the bride called” for funeral-ish. “

After the bride cut her dress choice, the maid lost “it” according to the bridesmaid.
“Like, full soiling,” she remembered. “Said she would not be in the wedding if she had to” buy a second fucking dress to match a mood board that changed every week. “
OP added: “Things got ugly.”
Before Pushbacken, the bride finally decided to scrape the wrong schedule and “just picked a dress for everyone.”
OP ended her post by noting that the increasingly popular trend with bridesmaids that wear uneven but coordinated dresses “look simple” – but actually “can be total chaos behind the scenes.”
In the comment episode, many with maid sympathized to honor frustration and accused the bride of being “intrusive”, “for picky” and vague about her vision.

“It sounds like the bride was too picky, had a vision in her head that she did not do a good job of conveying to everyone and probably really frustrate Moh,” one person wrote.

Another said: “This is what happens when someone tries to be” very relaxed and go with the flow “when they really have a very specific thing in their heads they really want. Instead of saying” this is what I want “, they try to gently steer people against it and just frustrate everyone.”
Yet another person claimed: “If you will get bridesmaids to choose their own dresses, you must then, but you must have concrete reasons for not allowing choices if you really are not on board with what is bridesmaid.” Is not vibe “not a concrete reason. How the hell should a bridesmaid know” vibe? “
Someone else noticed that the bride could have made the situation more even by reducing the choices for her bridesmaids.
“The bride should have chosen several dresses that she would approve and gave the list to the bridesmaids to choose which each of them would wear,” they wrote. “Why she wants suggestions from more than one person I don’t understand. It’s a recipe for disaster because her taste is what will affect the choice.”
Another Redditor agreed to write, “Bride is too open, and no one can match what she has in mind if she can’t communicate it clearly.”
