The Vanderpump engagement news arrives about six months after the couple went back on the Instagram official in September, when Sam formed a mirror selfie with “hard launch? 🚀” when he kissed his now hubby on his head.
During the months since their relationship announcement, the reality star and model posed for snaps from one Travel to Dubai And have shared Video mounting by their second adventure. As he told me Ok! Journalper Daily mailSam and Yaxley have really been around for six months, but have “gone through so much in such a short time.”
As Sam remembered, he became “really sick” at the end of last year when he got an infection due to a genetic disease that ultimately “led to sepsis and it ended up pretty bad.” While “could have died,” Sam said the experience of being admitted “brought us very, very” close.
“I think I went out of it and looked at Alice and thought, ‘This is the girl I want to marry.’ So my thinking was: “If I say it now, why on earth I wait,” he said.
In preparation for the commitment, Sam spoke with Alice’s father and eventually planned the moment for a private visit to a showroom for jewelry. The couple was “emotional wreck” during the proposal, he added.
Sam previously spoke to Daily mail After his health problems, caused by liver and kidney failure, earlier this year, explained that he spent days in bed with dehydration and severe back pain before his now attached an ambulance. As he explained, “she saved my life.”
“I thought I would die,” Sam told the outlet. “I didn’t think my body could do well and that was the scariest. It was scary.”
After recovering, he said that the experience gave him “a new vision” on life. “In the past I have used my free time to party and drink and be crazy but now I will use my free time very differently,” he said, leaving that he is planning a charity event with his reality show. Sam also detailed on Instagram why he decided to document his health trip.
“I want to deal with why my family took pictures of me while I was sick,” he formed a January 26 post. “They were taken to document my journey, to serve as a reminder of how far I have come and to educate others about the seriousness of sepsis. They also give a powerful source of motivation, which shows resilience and the importance of early medical intervention.”
“Sometimes, looking back at these moments helps us to appreciate life more and remind us to be grateful for the support and care we received during tough times,” brought Sam at that time.
