Mac and cheese are recalled over the risk of “serious or life -threatening allergic reaction”

Two popular Mac and cheese products have been recalled.

Good Foods Inc. remembers several masses of its goodles Mac and cheese products due to “risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction”, according to one Corporate announcement Shared with Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The affected products include five masses of vegan is to believe-plant-based white cheddar with spirals and three masses here come truffle-creamy truffle flavored cheddar and shells.

The white cheddar-mac and cheese-which are advertised to be vegan and herbal-based can contain undeclared milk, according to the FDA. In the meantime, the truffle product may contain cashew, “which is not listed on the label.”

“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and/or cashew may risk a serious or life -threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” said Good Food’s announcement.

There have been a total of eight reported allergic reactions in connection with the products – two from vegan believe in and six from here are truffles.

“The question was discovered through consumer feedback,” according to the FDA.

The recalled parties were produced between April 7 and April 15 and were distributed nationally to wholesale distributors, operators and online retailers between April 29 and August 8.

Here comes truffles, which are sold in a 6-Oz. Box, has a lot of code on 10125N, 10425N and 10525N. The best purchase dates are July 11, July 14 and July 15, 2026, with an UPC on 850031990159.

The UPC and LOT codes are available on the outside of the product.

Milk allergies can also cause hives, indigestion and anaphylaxis, according to Mayo Clinic.

Allergic reactions to nuts and milk usually occur shortly after consumption or exposure. However, nut allergies can strike up to six hours later.
