Louisa Jacobson shares Valentine’s day plans with partner Anna (exclusively)

Louisa Jacobson Shares how she will spend Valentine’s Day this year!

The actress, 33, spoke to people at a dinner for the Human Rights campaign earlier this month. When she prepares to spend Valentine’s Day with her partner Anna Blundell, Jacobson says they plan to do one of her favorite things.

“I’ll dance on Valentine’s Day!” She says and notes that she likes all the music that is “just fun techno house.”

Jacobson was also honored by HRC, which is the country’s largest lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender people and queer (LGBTQ+) Civil Rights Organization. She got to show Award for her representation of the LGBTQ+ community both on and off the screen and emphasized the importance of being your authentic self in her acceptance number.

“To be visible is to be vulnerable,” she said. “Unfortunately, vulnerability is often seen as a weakness. But in fact, it is one of the most powerful tools we have for connection. ”

She continued: “As an actor, I have learned that the most powerful performances happen when the actor allows themselves to be revealing – when they release the mask and stand in the raw truth about who they are. It’s the same in life. ”

“The moments where we release the mask and allow us to be seen, these are the moments when we really connect to others,” The gilded age Star finished.

Given her journey with her sexuality, Jacobson told People that she was grateful to have “so much support.”

“It means that everything should be honored,” she gushed. “I’m so, so grateful and grateful to HRC. I was surprised because I had only recently come out. It is such a brilliant opportunity to talk about visibility and what it means to this society and what it means to me. ”

“I am so lucky to work in the industry that I do,” she added. “That I am in a society of artists who also identify themselves as LGBTQ so it is just a warm, beautiful welcome that I am blessed to have and I do not take it for granted.”
