Two friends had life’s journey on New York’s Adirondack High Peaks over the Memorial Day Weekend.
According to a News notice From the New York Department of Environmental Conservation, Forest Ranger Praczkajlo responded to a call for a reported deceased hiker at Cascade Mountain on Saturday, May 24 at 9 local time.
Two hikers had called 911 to report that the third member of their hiking party had died, says the agency. When the two hikers met Cascade Summit Steward, they also advised that they were lost.
Cascade Mountain is the 36th Tallest of Adirondack High Peaks, according to Lakeplacid.com.

For the friends, however, it was not the track that caused the trouble.
According to the news message, the trustee determined that the two hikers who called the 911 call were in a “changed mental state” and had taken “hallucinogenic mushrooms.”

With regard to the third member of their party, the news message says they “called and not injured.” They were escorted back to their campsite by Praczkajlo.
