“Get low” almost didn’t have fans who went from the window to the wall.

During a behavior on A song PodcastThe Lil Jon revealed that Dance Club Classic was supposed to have a hook completely different from the iconic fans know and love from 2002 collaboration with East Side Boyz and The Ying Twins.

“I go into the studio and try to get a choir to it. And I think I will come with the Wackest Chorus I have ever done throughout my career,” the rapper, born Jonathan Smith, revealed that he would premiere the previously unheard of the podcast.

“This is the first place anyone other than the engineers and who was in the studio with us has heard this,” he continued.

The rapper, 54, then introduced hosts Diallo Riddle and Blake “Luxxury” Robin with “World Premiere of the Wackiest Thing” as he ever did.

“Yes. I don’t even remember who says this lyric,” he said of the original hook to “get low”, which was meant to be “let it go” instead of repeating the phrase “get low.”

“We didn’t come up with” Get Low “yet. No. No. We thought” Let it go “is a smash,” Lil Jon said.

“We were just, you know, you come up with ideas in the studio. We record this and it didn’t make the light of day. And it goes a bit like this.”

Singer “Turn Down for What” then played the introduction of the original “Let it go”.

Lil Jon added that it was “crazy” for the song to develop from the test he just recorded in a track that heard at weddings, dance parties, clubs and more.

Somewhere else in the podcastLil Jon credited his engineers for making the version what it is today and shared that the initial pace was originally at the end of the song.

“It was like the vamp,” he said. “My engineer, my mixing engineer, Ray C, he chose to put it in the beginning. And I remember going to the studio to hear the mix. And I heard that I was like,” Oh man, it’s crazy. “I was like,“ How did you think of doing it? ”

“It makes the song even prisoner. It captures you from the beginning,” “Yes!” Rapper said.

Lil Jon thought the track’s mix was “genius”, and adds, “I still work with him today.” The song topped on No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100 -Diagram and spent 45 weeks there.

“There are many aspects of Lil Jon, who we all know from Dave Chappelle sketches,” he said at that time. “It’s not just about screaming and partying at this HGTV show. When it comes to what the rapper’s younger I would think of him who expanded his talents in addition to making music, Lil Jon said he would find it “cool”, because “That’s how you have a life span.”

“You have to grow, because the music will not always be relevant,” continued Lil Jon. “I learned early, you have to be able to adapt and change and grow and always keep me forward, because if you are kind of behind you will remain.”
