Alexa Lemieux Remember some tough memories when she and husband Brennon Lemieux struggled to get pregnant.
The couple, who met and got married on Season 3 of Love is Blind, appears on ad Smith’s podcast What is reality In an exclusive clip shared with people before the section’s premiere. In the clip, AD, which also appeared on Love is blindAlexa asks if she could talk about what it was like to go through her infertility struggle.
“It was hard. It was really hard,” Alexa begins. “I felt it and then it was difficult for … as if I only remember once that broke down. Like,” Do you regret to marry me? “Because we really are tied over to have children together.”
“I don’t know why I cry, because I have a child,” says Alexa, who started to become emotional. “But it was difficult, and I just remember that I thought it will never happen.”

Alexa went on to say that her husband, Brennon, was supportive and told her that there were other alternatives they could explore.
“Then we decided to put a break because there were many hormones that I injected and so mentally I did not do well at all,” she reminds. “And then I was obviously very, very emotional, and from it was up, so my body was off and (I was like) I gain weight from all these hormones and I’m not even pregnant.”
“And then I had people online who pointed it out all the time, so it was really difficult. And then we just decided to pause it. Let’s regroup. And then I became pregnant. And it was a very healthy pregnancy and we are very blessed for it,” she continues. “That’s not always the case, and so we were very, very happy.”
Alexa and Brennon welcomed their baby daughter Vienna in July last year.
When the couple first announced with people solely that they were pregnant in January 2024, they split that The trip had been long.
“We have been trying for almost a year and a half, so it was a lot. I went through some fertility treatments and nothing worked,” Alexa explained at that time. “I was really nervous that we might never be able to have children.”
“For me personally, and that’s not how I see women, but I was put on earth to be a mother,” she continued. “Since I was a child (I would be asked),” What do you want to be when you are older? “And people are like, I want to be a princess or an astronaut or whatever it is. That’s all I ever wanted to be.”
“And so, it was just a very dow time for me. I really went through it because I am as if I can’t do the only thing I feel I was sitting on earth to do,” she admitted. “And for me it takes you from your femininity. That’s how it felt. And that I felt I was broken.”
Eventually, however, the couple got that they had thought naturally before setting up their first in vitro fertilization (IVF). “When I found out, I definitely didn’t even think a little that I was (pregnant),” Alexa reminded people. “I took some (tests) and it was positive and I just continued to tell him when it came back positively, I was like,” my body works, my body works! “
