Krispy Kreme celebrates Pac-man’s 45th anniversary with free monks all week for a long time

Crispy Kreme Takes nostalgia at the forefront with its latest collaboration.

On Monday, May 12, the popular Donut brand announced its legendary partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. to celebrate the 45th anniversary for the publication of PAC-Man.

The collaboration will illuminate three newly designed monks and unlock other rewards that monk and video games will equally enjoy.

The three flavors contain many customer favorites from Krispy Kreme. The first is Pac-Man Party Donut, an original glazed monk with yellow butter cream-tasting glaze, topped with litter and a PAC-man bit. Then there is Team Ghost Donut, an uneven skaln-filled with chocolate-tasted Kreme, the brand’s signature butter cream, dipped in matte black glaze and decorated with a Pac-man-labyrinth and topped with team ghost pieces.

And of course there is no PAC man but the iconic fruits that ghosts chompar, which is marked in the strawberry power donut: a fried shell monk filled with strawberry-tasted kreme, dipped in a light red glaze and topped with white sprinkles and green leafy.

Speaking of fruit, Krispy Kreme will also release its popular strawberry glass, which has not been in circulation since its limited driving in August 2023, to add the set up of goodies.

“These brand new Pac-Man monks are cutest in several players,” Krispy Kreme said. “Collaboration with Bandai Namco and Pac-Man is a new high score of sweetness.”

Krispy Kreme also aims to give away 45,000 monks to loyal customers and video game enthusiasts to honor the celebration.

Guests can get a free monk from May 12 to May 18, in the store and in driving-thru, during the store’s hot light hours to 9 and 17 to 19, or when the chain’s signature “Hot Light” shines. Guests can also get a free 10-counted package with “PAC dots” through May 14, with the purchase of all dozen monks sold at their usual price.

Krispy Kreme X Pac-Man Collection is available in store and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kremes app and website and can be purchased individually or by dozen. Guests can also enjoy PAC-Man Donuts in a crispy Kreme 6-pack box, which is delivered fresh every day to choose retailers.
