Kelly Clarkson hustled hard after her American idol win.
Under a section of Kylie KelceS Will not lie Podcast On Thursday, March 27, “since you were gone” Hitmaker, 42, revealed that although people may have thought she was a “millionaire” after winning the Talent Competition series in 2002, she was still struggling.
“After I won IdolPeople were like, “Oh, she’s a millionaire,” “reminded Clarkson.” No. I wasn’t. As if they say “millions of dollars” agreements. No I didn’t. They said I would get a car. No. I didn’t. As if I didn’t get any of it. ”

She added: “We played, as well as festivals in the middle of Cow S — connects all our gear. Do you know what I say?
Clarkson said it was a “life.”
“Every bit of it,” she said. “At 42, it’s still a life.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Clarkson opened his time on the show’s first season.
“For all of us during the first season we literally didn’t … I didn’t even know it was a TV show until my third audition. As we literally tried to pay our bills. We are like,” Oh, this might work. I might have met someone or whatever. “No one knew it would be something,” she said.
Added Clarkson: “We were literally, who, children – you know, 19 years old just tried to pay my electrical bill.
The “chemistry” artist also noted how insulating to be on the first season of American idol Where.
“I had none. I was the first winner. It was hard. Not to sound, whatever, it was really hard,” Clarkson said.

She also reflected on how some of the coaches at The voicewhere she was a coach for nine seasons, was “really meant” after she won at American idol.
“People who really were mean have been coach. You know what I say? Like, hated talent shows. And they stopped being at The voice, “ said Clarkson.
She continued: “It’s like, okay. But people were really awesome at first. They didn’t like it. It took the industry type of storm, talent shows. It was a very different thing in the industry about the populous.”
