Kate Middleton knew exactly what to wear for a nautical excursion in Scotland with Prince William!

On May 22, the Prince and the Princess of Wales went out in Scotstoun, Glasgow, to participate in Ship Naming Ceremony of HMS Glasgow at Bae Systems Shipyard. Princess Kate, 43, is the sponsor of the warship and will have the honor to crush a bottle of whiskey against her hull – Dress the part for the job!

The Princess of Wales made an elegant statement in a long-sleeved marine dress with white tubes that seemed to be new to her collection and matched it with what seemed to be her navy blue and white Philip Trecy hat like she Last Sport on the Troop Color in June 2022. She ended the look with a brooch and beige heels, with the whole ensemble that gave Maritime Vibber.

Her marine revenue followed a clue from his late mother -in -law, Princess DianaWhich would sometimes nod for military jobs by wearing clothes with similar tribute.

Princess Kate was named HMS Glasgow sponsor in June 2021 and the latest anti-submarine regulation type 26 is designed to protect the UK’s nuclear connections and aircraft. She checked in on the ship’s progress by hosting Royal Navy Sjömän from HMS Glasgow on Windsor Castle 2022 to hear about the work done and the sailors’ experiences in Royal Navy.

A highlight of William and Kate’s Shipyard visits will be when she releases a bottle against the ship’s hull and officially names it. The Princess of Wales has had plenty of practice with this before, as her first official involvement with Prince William in February 2011 poured champagne on a lifeboat in Wales a few months before their royal wedding, which marked her first duty in a functioning royal role.

Following the Princess of Wales Strö War Farty with whiskey, she and William will board to meet representatives from BAE Systems and Royal Navy to learn more about what the ship will offer.

The couple will then join apprentices and candidates in the BAE Systems Shipbuilding Academy to hear about the shipbuilding industry and maritime training they have received, including manufacturing, electric, sheet metal work, welding and pipe fitting – all helped to bring HMS Glasgow to life.
