Kate Middleton and Prince William Joined King Charles and Queen Camilla by celebrating the offers from the greatest generation.
Members of the British royal family marked 80Th The anniversary of the end of the Second World War on May 8 at a Thanksgiving Service held in Westminster Abbey in London. The event, which took place exactly 80 years after the war was declared, celebrated the fallen and those who fought and survived the six -year conflict.

With its steps into the monastery, the sun was greeted at William’s medals, Kate – in a white dress decorated with black polka -dots – by the priesthood, led by Pastor Dr. David Hoyle, the dean of Westminster. The king and the queen were announced with a royal fanfare as they walked through the western door to the monastery moment later.
The service began moment after 12.00 local time, when Big Ben, nearby, sounded and the royal family joined the 1,800 strong congregation in a national two minutes of silence to reflect on and remember the victims and heroism of the armed forces and stoicism of ordinary people during the war. During the solemn moments, Princess Kate, 43, and Queen Camilla, 77, were along the grave of the unknown warrior, while King Charles, 76, and Prince William, 42, stood in the head, a few steps away.

Shortly thereafter, Charles, followed by William, lays wreaths at the grave, which is a few meters inside the main west door to the monastery. Led by the priesthood, the four Royals then participated in a procession into the monastery.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer read during the service. Represents young people, Alexander Churchill-an grandchildren to Britain’s war leader Winston Churchill-that lit a candle with peace. He also made a special prayer, along with members of the armed forces.
The address was given by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell. In the presence, several former prime minister was also in the UK. There were 138 countries represented in the monastery, the BBC reported.
The service ended with a resounding reproduction of the national anthem, God saves the king – who together with the king, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate Sung.

The church in the heart of London is the place chosen for national parties and memory. That’s where Prince William and Princess Kate got married 14 years ago and where the funeral of Queen Elizabeth took place in September 2022. It is also the site of Kate’s annual Carol Service, which has become a fixture in the royal calendar.
After the ceremony, King Charles and Queen Camilla met some of the veterans in the congregation. The visit ended with Queen Camilla led part of the royal family in laying flowers at the innocent victim’s memorial at the monastery’s west door.

The service was a spiritual highlight during the memory week. They started on Monday 5 May with a military parade and one Spectacular floating paste over Buckingham Palace, Looked by William and Kate with their three children: Prince George11 Princess Charlotte10 and Prince Louis7. Later the same day, in a surpriseGeorge joined the King and his parents who participated in a teaching for about 50 veterans from the Second World War in the palace.

On May 6, Queen Camilla visited the magnificent display of light red ceramic poppy in Tower of London.
Later on May 8, a special concert-with singer Freya Riding, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Calum Scott, Rockband The Darkness, Toploader and singer Tom Walker, will take place at Horse Guards Parade. King Charles and Queen Camilla will be guests of honor at the celebration, who will also contain a favorite of Camillas: a performance with The Professionals from Strictly Come DancingBritain’s version of Dance with the stars.
