Jude teamwho played handsome widow Graham in the original 2006 Nancy Meyers Film, has no plans to return to its role for the recently announced Apple TV+ recording.
“I play grandfather. No, I am not. I’m not really,” Law, 52, teased during a performance on Today View Wednesday, September 17. “You know, I heard about it. I know nothing about it. Nothing than I don’t think I’m in it. I don’t know.”

On the question of interviewer Craig Melvin if he would consider returning to the beloved Christmas classic Costarring Cameron DiazThe Kate Winslet and Jack BlackReplied the law: “Nancy Meyers would need to be involved. She was the magic that brought all this.”
In fact, it was a note from the author’s director that warned the law on the existence of the remake.
“I think Nancy wrote to me and said,“ Have you heard of this? “Literally,” he recalled.
Meyers, himself, was singing when the news broke of remake, which will be a limited series on the streaming service.

People previously confirmed that Apple TV+ will customize the film’s same concept – an ambitious American woman (Diaz) house replacements with a heartbroken British woman (winslet) and both fall in love in the most unexpected way – with new characters and stars.

Before the news about the remake, Law E told me! News 2024 that he would be open to a potential sequel to the film.
“Why not?” he replied when asked about it. “I love the idea.”
The original movie ended with Law’s Graham and Diaz’s Amanda and tried to make their transcontinental romance work and call during the new year together in Iris’ (Winslet) Surrey Cottage.
