Jodie Foster reveals why she rejected Cameo in Freakier Friday

Jodie Foster explains why she chose a como -look in new Freaky Friday continuation.

This summer, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis return to the large screen for Freakier FridayA follow -up to their comedy from 2003 Body Swap. Foster played famous in Disney’s original version from 1976 as a children’s star opposite Barbara Harris.

“When I was a kid, I worked so much that when I was 18, I needed to take a different approach,” she said, “if I could do something else, if I was a writer or painter or sculptor, it would be good too. But this is the only skill I have.”

Foster also shared why she does not often take comic roles.

“I don’t love to make comedies in English. And maybe it is because in America, when we do comedies, they don’t have much subtlety or intelligence. For me it is important,” Foster said. “So I don’t find as many as I love.
