Jessica Biel reveals how she relates to her character in ‘The Better Sister’ (exclusive)

Jessica Biel Always try to find a personal connection to each of her characters.

At the premiere of the actress latest TV series, The better sisterShe tells people how she related to the integrity her character sought. Biel, 43, stars next to Elizabeth Banks as sisters with a twisted past that is in the middle of a scandal.

On Tuesday, May 20, the New York City premiere, Biel explained to portray his various characters “is always catartic no matter what I do.”

“You will find something in your life that is parallel to something you understand or a touch point that you can connect to that your character goes through,” she said. “Sometimes it’s abstract, sometimes it’s very linear.”

“I can understand sometimes to feel that you have to put on a happy face, or if you know, smile and type of grin and carry it.” The actress has been in the public eye since she was thrown in 7th heaven at 14 years old. “I have definitely done it before.”

“I understand that I want to hide some of my personal life or you know, just keep something sacred,” the actress added. “I think my character does it in a very dysfunctional way, and I think I do it a little more functionally, I hope,” she concluded as she laughed.

Based on Alafair Burke’s best -selling book of the same name, the upcoming Prime Videos series sees Biel and Banks, such as Chloe and Nicky respectively. The two are rough against each other when their shared husband – the banks’ ex and Biel’s current partner – discontinues murdered.

As Whodunnations develop, the messy story shares Chloe and Nicky with their dead Make Adam (Corey Stoll) makes them both look like suspects.

While Biel and Banks, 51, are in battle in the new series, Par previously told People that chemistry came “naturally” between them.

“I mean, there was nothing anyone ever said that was a negative comment about Elizabeth,” Biel said. “Just fun, smart, do everything, so in addition to incredible, funny, all the things that everyone knows about her from her work, everything is of course true, but the other things like shade-ys that (i) didn’t know.”

Banks added, “I had only ever heard the most beautiful things (about Biel).”
