Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez showed his support for his late friend and celebrity hairdresser Jesus Guerrero at his funeral this weekend.

People have confirmed that Jenner, 27 and Lopez, 55, were among the guests at Guerrero’s funeral in Houston – his hometown – on Sunday 30 March. Many prominent figures in the beauty industry, as well as friends and family members, were also present.

Guerrero’s family first announced his death In a series of Instagram stories posts on February 23 and shared that the hairdresser suddenly died at the age of 34. His cause of death has not been published.

“Our family wants to thank everyone for all love and support during this difficult time. Jesus was the brightest light, we have never doubted that he touched the hearts and the life of all he came across,” the family wrote along with a picture of Guerrero.

Both Lopez and Jenner have been sincere about their love for Guerrero after his death. Jenner previously offered to cover their funeral costs For his family and Guerrero’s sister Gris thanked her publicly in an update of the family’s Gofundme page.

“Our family deeply appreciates Kylie to later offer to cover funeral costs and offer all her help and support,” reads the update.

The collection description found that those who have previously been collected “will go against the costs associated with securing his belonging home” and other “unexpected expenses to resolve their assets.”

“I don’t know how I would have done it through the last almost decade without him by my side,” she wrote with photos of herself with the hairdresser. “He had a way to make even the heaviest days feel easier.”

In addition, Lopez published a tribute to Guerrero on social media and shared an emotional captions with a photo of him.

“Jesus,” began Lopez’s captions. “It’s no surprise that your mother gave you the name Jesus. You were gentle and friendly and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence felt in the minute you went into any room. You never demanded the limelight. You never had to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent made it as strenuous as you did.

At the time when Guerrero’s family announced their death, they shared a snapshot of Guerrero who walked on the streets of Paris and also wrote: “I do not know how the world will continue without his light but I know he will give us the strength to drive past any obstacle. Rip Jesus. We love you all.”
