Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson reveals how to become parents changed them

Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson Believe parenting changed so much about their lives – including how they approach their career as an actor.

During a press conference at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival On Sunday, May 18, Lawrence, 34 and Pattinson, 39, talked about becoming parents when discussing their thriller Die, my love.

“Having children changes everything. It changes your entire life. It’s brutal and incredible,” said Lawrence, who shares a 3-year-old son Cy and a newborn with husband COoke Maroney.

Added Pattinson, who is the father of a 1-year-old daughter with Suki Waterhouse: “I believe, in the most unexpected ways, having a child gives you the greatest believing of energy and inspiration afterwards. It’s a different type of energy.”

According to Lawrence, being mother’s work affects her work. “Not only do they go into every decision if I work, where I work, when I work – they have learned,” she said.

“I mean, I didn’t know I could feel that much, and my job has a lot to do with emotions, and they have opened the world to me,” added Oscar winner. “It’s almost like feeling like a blisters or something, so sensitive.”

She continued by her two children, “they have obviously changed my life for the best, and they have changed me creatively. I strongly recommend having children, if you want to be an actor.”

For his part, Pattinson annoyed that his view of the matter was “impossible for a guy to answer correctly.”

“It’s literally just like what Jennifer said. I’m here just to support,” he continued. “Ever since she was born, it’s revived how I approach work, and yes, you are a completely different person the next day.”

Debuting at the annual film event in France, Die, my love Is an adaptation of the 2017 novel by Ariana Harwicz about a new mother who develops depression after birth and goes into psychosis. Directed and written by Lynne Ramsay (We have to talk about Kevin), the film will compete for Palme d’Or.
