Jeezy Am grateful for an Uber driver’s efforts to get him to his show.
The rapper “Get Right”, 47, said he was forced to take a 10-hour drive from South Carolina to Baltimore to avoid disappointing fans after his flight was interrupted before his concert at Lyric Baltimore on August 1.
Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, published a fans Tiktok -Video on InstagramShows the moment he explained his long trip to the audience, after successfully reached the city as part of his TM101: Live Tour.
“I woke up to my team and informed me that all flights to Baltimore and DC had been canceled,” formed the Jeezy Post. “They then told me that my driver was about to pick me up so we could drive to Baltimore for the next stop on the tour.”

“Two hours into our driving, we met an object on the highway, punctured the gasoline tank and got fuel to leak everywhere,” Jeezy continued. “We went over to a small gas station to regroup in SC.”
“My team tried to arrange a jet from South Carolina to Baltimore, but with the flights interrupted (because of the weather, we were not sure if the jet would get us there in time and risked another cancellation,” he then wrote.
The musician “Soul Survivor” continued to explain that his team originally called an Uber to take him and his team to a rental car company.
But about eight minutes into the trip, he began to ask how much the Uber driver would take out to change the travel destination to Baltimore.
“I assured him that whatever it was, he would have it,” said the four-time Grammy-nominated rapper about the driver. “Like a real one, he did not hesitate and just continued to drive.”

“Ten hours later we arrived at Baltimore just ten minutes before Showtime!” Jeezy continued. “I told him he made many people happy tonight! Gave him a snowman -tee and told him he was my guest for the show tonight!”
“Shout out to the real MVP, my Uber drives Tanner! Not all heroes carry coats!” He finished his post. “Ps there was no way that I missed Baltimore! ⛄‼ ️.”
Jeezy did not reveal how much he paid the Uber driver, who later got a standing ovation when he was taken on stage in the city.
Uber -driver recognized later Tiktok That he did not expect to give the rapper a turn to get viral, but he thought it was “a little cool.”
“Big thanks to Jeezy. He was super cool. Very nice guy, real guy,” he added.
