James van der Beeks wife Kimberly Shares his birthday wishes for the actor when he turns 48.
On Saturday, March 8, Kimberly published a touching message on Instagramdescribes her hopes for her husband for the coming year.
Alongside a series of sincere photos of James with his wife and one of the couple Six childrenShe started: “Happy birthday @Vanderjames. May our hearts continue to dance together for many many many more birthdays. You are a treasure. I feel like the happiest lady in the world to be married to you. ”
She continued: “May this year give you so much laughter, dance, deepened connection to God, exceptional health and delicious beauty all around – plus of course – the family’s snuggles, sunrises, sunsets, play and restorative rest.”
Kimberly’s desire for “exceptional health” is apparently a nod to James Cancer trip. Back in November, the actor revealed exclusively to people he had been Diagnosed with colorectal cancer and “took action to solve it, with the support of my incredible family.”
“There is reason for optimism, and I feel good,” he added.
On Saturday, James split An Instagram post of one’s own to highlight their birthday. In a short video – as he formed, “what I got from my 48th trip around the sun” – Varsity Blues Star speaks directly to the camera and begins, “It’s my birthday, and it’s been the hardest year of my life. And I wanted to share something I learned with you.”
He went on to talk about how he used to define himself, first as an actor, then as a husband and then as a father, a title he described as “The Ultimate.”
“For a long time it felt like a really good definition for the question, who am I?” James said about being a father. “And then this year I had to see my own mortality in my eye. I had to come nose to the nose with death. And all these definitions that I cared so deeply about were peeled from me.”

He explained that while he was away from his home and family for treatment, he could no longer be fully present in his role as husband, father and supplier. So he was intensely struggling with the question, “What am I?”
“And I meditated and the answer came through: I am worthy of God’s love, simply because I exist,” shared James and noted that he came to the “revelation” with the help of all prayers and messages about support he received from the fans and therefore wanted to forward it.
In addition to the support from his fans, James has also had Kimberly by his side. During an interview with Robin Roberts on Good morning America In December he opened about how his wife has supported him in the wake of his severe diagnosis.

“She’s been amazing,” he told Roberts about Kimberly. “She has really taught me what unconditional love is.”
“I am someone who has always tried to do everything for everyone and never asked for help myself and this has put me in a position that I have to ask for help but needing help,” James continued. “And the beautiful blessing of it has seen how many people in my life have appeared.”
The actor Once again praised his wife for her love and support in a cute Valentine’s daily post at Instagram February 14th.
“I remember our first #valentinesday … Wake up early in that New York apartment to silent it with cheap pharmacy decorations I bought,” James wrote in the caption. “All I wanted to do was take care of you. I never once thought there would be a time when I would need you to take care of me. But do you ever have. ”
“I would like to say that I chose my valentine wisely. But I had no choice, he continued. “I was a goner from the moment you interrupted me the middle of the sentence and told a friend that I was ready to meet the real deal.”
James finished the heartfelt post: “@Vanderkimberly Thank you for being on earth. Thank you for holding on to me. And thank you for being a guiding light in life for anyone who is lucky enough to know you. I fall for you a million times over. Happy Valentine’s Day. “
