The death of a “loved” employee of Jacob’s pillow, a performance and festival space in Massachusetts, has been inadvertently ruled.
Berkshire District Attorney’s Office decided that the employee – Identified by Jacob’s pillow As production manager Kat Sirico – died due to a workplace accident and said that no criminal charges would be brought, according to Times UnionThe Berkshire edge and WRGB-TV.
Sirico and a trainee “were moving platforms used to stag for a theater over Jacob’s Pillow Property” in Becket on a Dolly on Friday 1 August, according to Berkshire edge and WRGB TV, which quoted the district lawyer’s office. The couple tried to move a Dolly down into a “sloping area” when they “lost control” over it and it started rolling down.
“The decedent tried to regain control of Dolly; however, stumbled and fell,” the office said according to the stores. “Dolly ran over the decedent and platforms fell from Dolly and landed at the Decedent.”

Lifeguard measures were performed at Sirico by spectators, and the Becket police and the first respondents were sent to the area at about 12:30, says the office Per Per Per Per Per Per Per Berkshire edge.
The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to people’s request for comment on Saturday 2 August.
Jacob’s pillow paid tribute to Sirico on Facebook and Instagram and shared that the employee was a “beloved” employee and a “essential part of our team.” The festival added that “their spirit, generosity and commitment touched many lives.”
“We keep their family, friends and colleagues in our hearts as we mourn,” Raid Jacob’s pillow.
The company noted that as a result of the event, all performances and events that would take place on the weekend between August 1-3 have been canceled and campus will be closed. It also noted that the festival performances would be resumed next week.

Sirico’s official cause of death will be announced by a medical examiner, says the district lawyer’s office Per WRGB-TV.
Sirico had been involved in Jacob’s pillow since 2005 and started as an intern at the festival, according to Sirico’s LinkedIn.
Sirico continued to work as production manager and electrician at several theaters including the Children’s Theater of Madison in Wisconsin and the University of Chicagos Court Theater before returning to Jacob’s pillow last year as production manager. Sirico then returned to Jacob’s pillow in February as Doris Duke Theater Production Manager.
