Jack Bech remembers brother killed in New Orlean’s terrorist attack during the NFL draft

Jack Bechh lived one of his dreams on Friday night and made sure his older brother, Martin “Tiger” Bech, was there with him.

Three months after Tiger was Among the 14 killed in New Orlean’s attack On New Year’s Day, Jack, 22, paid tribute to him when he was Selected by Las Vegas Raiders as the 58th election in 2025 NFL draft.

“Not only do they get me, they get tiger too,” he said. “It’s a dream.

Tiger was 27 at the time of his death, per his obituary. Like his younger brother, he was also a star athlete and played football at Princeton University. According to the school’s WebsiteHe was a member of the Ivy League Championship Act 2016 and 2018. He also received two all-IVY awards.

After his graduation, he worked as a trader at Seaport Global, a New York City Capital Markets company, Hans Mother, Michelle, said ABC News.

Jack said his brother’s death still motivates him to work harder on this day.

“He would tell me one thing, for me to get ready, to continue. To continue printing. He has taken me to new heights. He has taken me places that I did not know I could go, just with commitment and want to just go out and work,” Jack said.

“You know, when you know, late at night, early mornings, he will continue to bring me longer and longer,” he continued. “And I spend my whole career to him.”

The new NFL Signee stated that he and his family want to “continue to live his legacy.”
