He tried to abduct a girl shopping with his grandmother – a few minutes later he tried again, police say

A Colorado -Man is accused of trying to remove a young girl twice within just a few minutes.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office announced that 34-year-old Bradley Mikel Wilson had been arrested over the weekend and accused of attempted kidnapping.

That fee stems from an incident that occurred on the morning of June 21, when Wilson is alleged to take hold of an 8-year-old girl while she was out shopping with her grandmother, JCSO said in a News notice.

Wilson approached Grandma as she was in the product section in a Safeway in Littleton, according to the publication and asked her: “Can I borrow your child?”

JCSO stated in the publication that Wilson then took the girl by the shoulder and started walking her out of the store.

Wilson, however, did not come out of the store, when the girl managed to break away and run to his grandmother after the woman started screaming at him when he tried to escape with the child, according to the publication.

He then left the store, but not so long, according to the publication, who claims that Wilson “quickly reintroduced and tried to take the girl again.”

Staff in the store screamed at Wilson the second time he is alleged to try to take the girl and also announced law enforcement.

Deputies arrived at the store to learn that Wilson had already left the stage, but they managed to arrest him later that day.

Wilson was booked into the Jefferson County detention facility just before midnight on June 21, where he remains before his first court appearance June 23.

The girl and her grandmother were not affected by any physical injuries as a result of attempted abduction.
