Handmaid’s story star Ever carradine says she “can’t even imagine” to work with her father, actor Robert Carradine -But mostly because it would be for nerve racking.

Ever, who plays Naomi at the HIT Hulu series, recently spoke with People exclusive while attending a special event for show at Paleyfest LA 2025 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California. During the conversation, the actress, 50, says while she would be open to collaborate with her father one day, she would also have some reservations.

“I can’t even imagine it. I feel that I would just be really self-conscious because he is my dad,” ever said to work with the 71-year-old The revenge of the nerds star. “But it would be fun … he’s such a good guy to be with – on set too.”

Ever – who says her dad is a “super fan” of Handmaid’s story – also noted that her father worked with her current husband on the screen, Bradley Whitfordon Revenge of the Nerds 2, which premiered in 1987.

“Everyone laughed,” she said about chance. “It’s all fantastic. It’s all crazy and good, and we just feel happy.”

Later in his conversation with people complemented actress Bradley, 65, and called him “the best” to work with as a stage partner-at the same time he shared that his humor and on site Levity helped her to better achieve the stiffness required to play a character like Naomi.

“The thing is that Naomi is so tense,” she explained. “But to play the upward, you have to be relaxed. And Bradley keeps me laughing all the time. I never laugh if Bradley is on set, and it keeps you relaxed.”

She added: “He is just fun and wonderful and bursts with jokes and finds humor or sings a song. I don’t know what he is doing, but it’s fun. And we were all together the next day – I think it was the day after the election – and just like, it was the outstanding day, but we were together.”

And when it comes to her feelings on Handmaiden’s story Upcoming last season? Ever, she says in some ways as much in the dark as the viewers, because the role often got to edited scripts while working on the season.

“Everyone’s (scripts) were edited, and then different drafts would come out with less and less editors. And I never asked for an unarmed section 10 (the show’s last episode) because I am a fan of the show, and it will be the first time I have ever been able to watch the show and not know what will happen,” she explained.

Handmaid’s story Season 6 premieres on April 8 with three episodes. New episodes flow every week at Hulu.
